Excavation has resumed!

After about a month and a half delay, our site is back under construction. This is a photo of the main drain that will run under and around the house.

This is the middle part of the lot where the drain runs through the site.

The excavator in action.

This is the top of the lot, where the drain will begin.

The kids are on the hillside watching the excavation below them.

If all goes well, the site will be ready for the foundation walls by the end of the week. On August 5th, the walls will be set. On August 11th, the house will be set upon the foundation. Then it will be another few weeks until we can move in....can't wait!
Blessings,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Bless your heart for your thoughtful words concerning my Dad's death. It touched me and meant so much. I am truly grateful beyond words. It has been a rough summer and as you know school is right around the corner!! Are you getting geared up for the kiddos? When do you report? I think teachers go around the 10th for our district.
Your house project is so exciting and I'll bet you can't wait. Keep us updated with pictures!! I'm a little behind so not sure but is your house being built elsewhere and will be brought in? When is moving in day??? ;)
Thanks again for such kind words.
Love,
Tanya

Thanks Mel~we're thrilled too!

Tanya~We are getting geared up for school. I return on the 24th, the kids on the 30th. Summer vacation is slipping away with so much left to do! We purchased a modular home. It will be built in a factory and shipped to us in four pieces. Then the crew here will put it together. I have no idea when we'll be moving, but am hoping to be totally moved in before Labor Day.

Thanks for your sweet comments! Take care and God Bless!
