Our dd started riding a big girl bike, as she calls it, just last evening. She has mastered turning around, braking (which is very important!) and standing up to pedal up the hill. We're so proud of her! The bike was a hand-me-down from a friend and the helmet was her brother's, but we're going to get a new helmet the next time we're at the store.
She wants a princess helmet. (of course!)
Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings,
Lisa

Thanks for visiting the hut! Your flowers are beautiful, but this is the post that caught my eye.
Reminded me of when my daughter had her training wheels taken off her bike by the neighbor boys. She was so proud. A few days later she rode her bike into the back of a parked car and split her head open. Twelve stitches took care of her head and she calmly explained to me, "But mom, I was looking at a very beautiful house." She's 35 now and I still get nervous when she rides in the street! lol
Thanks for bringing back this memory to me.
