First Trip to Camp 2013

 

We finally made it to our camp last weekend.  The family loves our time together there.  It was a little chilly at night, but nice during the day.  On Saturday, we took our first excursion on the boat.  It was Karla's first time on the boat....she was more excited about the shadows on the floor, than having the wind in her face.  Our dog is a little odd.  lol  Above H is hanging with Karla.

I saw the printable on Pinterest...then filled the bucket with worms.  It was fitting since they did do some fishing on Saturday.  Miss M was the only one who caught anything.

Fourth of July at the Lake

We spent the holiday weekend at the lake. The weather was beautiful! Here are some pics of our day on the water.

Spring Time!

Today we took a ride out to camp to see how everything weathered the winter. We're pleased to say that everything held up well. I took a picture of the camper, because, well, I wish I was actually camping....

After checking out camp, we stopped at our lot (which we now own and have an "official" address for!) so DH could show me where the house will sit. It will be on the left side of the photo. The lot is 9/10 of an acre, so this pic shows only about 1/2 of it.

Our Weekend at the Lake~August

We were at camp this weekend. On Saturday, dh's brother Mike came down to ski and boat with us. The guys skiied, tubed and even jumped off the rope swing. Hunter even did the rope swing....very brave of him! We had a nice day visiting with Mike. On Sunday, we spent the day at the beach. The kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. It was the first weekend this year that we didn't have a thunderstorm while we were on the lake. :0)
