Tonight the sixth grade teachers were honored with an Academic Growth Award for our work with the 2012-2013 sixth grade class in Reading.  As most of you know, I am no longer teaching at the middle school, but am very honored to be recognized for the achievement of our students.

Back to School Teacher Gift

 

 I like to start the school year off with a cute gift for my colleagues and our children's teachers.  This year I was inspired by Stacy at She's Kinda Crafty.  She made similar tags to the one I made above  and put them onto a portable scent holder from Bath and Body Works. 

 

 

Today while shopping for a birthday gift, I saw these really great smelling apple shaped tarts.  I bought 2 for each of the teachers and put them in a cello bag, tied it with red ribbon and added one of the tags I made using the Cricut.

A friend shared this video on Facebook and I just had to share it with you!  It's the easiest way ever to peel a head of garlic.  I'm going to try it tomorrow and let you know how I fare!
