Weekend Update

Spring has finally arrived on the mountain. These are the only flowers on our lot, and I was so happy to see that they still bloomed this year.

On Saturday, dd went to a tea party with her grandmother. She was so excited! Here she is dressed and ready to go!

Here she is wearing the hat that they decorated at the tea party.

After the tea party, we worked on a Resurrection Egg lap book together using printables from

Miss M with her completed book.

Here's a picture of our two new pear trees. It's a start!

Thank you for stopping by!

Peace and blessings,

Lisa

We went walking...

...this afternoon. Here are some daffodils outside the rectory behind our home.

Some hyacinths and tulips waiting to bloom.

A daffodil in my backyard.

My favorite, a red tulip, about to bloom in our garden.

The Bleeding Heart plant is already showing heart flowers.

The back corner of our yard. I am going to miss the springtime show when we move. It's so lovely.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings and peace,

Lisa

Gardening....

This is my first time starting plants from seeds for our garden. They are finally beginning to sprout, and will be thinned out later this week into flat trays for planting outside sometime next month. It's still too early to put anything out yet. From left to right are basil, green pepper and tomato plants.
I'm trying to convince dh to build a raised bed in our backyard for this summer. I want to plant some lettuce, broccoli and cucumber plants too.
Blessings,
Lisa
