Menu Plan Monday, June 30, 2008
Good Monday Morning to all!
This week's Menu Plan Monday is being hosted by Heavenly Homemakers so be sure to check out the rest of the menus there!
I actually stuck to the menu for last week. I was quite proud of myself. I wish I had this much energy during the school year to cook nightly and not get take-out or order in at least twice a week. I know the family appreciates it too.
Here's the plan for this week:
Sunday~ Grilled Cheddar Smoked Sausage, Baked Potato Salad and Baked Beans
Monday~Grilled Lemon~Basil Chicken, Italian Pasta Salad, Corn on the Cob
Tuesday~Grilled Steak, Crash Hot Potatoes, Grilled Zucchini Slices
Wednesday~Pizza on the Grill, Spicy Grilled Chicken Wings , Tossed Salad
Thursday~Best Ever Grilled Pork Chops, Rice Pilaf, Steamed Sweet Peas
Friday~Happy Fourth of July! Cheeseburgers, Homemade French Fries, Fresh Fruit, Chocolate Frosted Brownies, and Veggies with Dip
Saturday~Beef and Vegetable Kabob Dinner
Have a great week!
Enjoy!
Blessings,
Lisa

Sounds great - especially the 4th. Happy Independence day!
The lemon-basil chicken sounds wonderful. My plans changed this evening so I think I'll make this for dinner tonight. Thanks for sharing!
Ok, first off, that chicken lemon/basil dish and Crash Potato dish look downright heavenly! Definitely going to try those soon.
I love you little smile box scrap book pages and I am for sure going to have fun playing around with that idea on my blog.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I enjoyed visiting you--you have a fun site and I plan to visit again!

I just wanted to thank you all for the comments. I've been making the lemon-basil chicken for over 10 years and it is still one of dh's favorite chicken dishes. My mother gave me the recipe for it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Blessings,
Lisa
