Snow Day...AGAIN!

 

These are some photos from when I woke up around 7 am this morning.  We had gotten a lot of snow overnight, at least 4-6 inches. 

 

 

The pictures below were taken during the "thunder snow" event.

 

 

Thankful that we did not have to venture into this storm to get to school today!

 

 

Of course, hockey is still on for tonight!  Go Red Devils!

Snow Day!

 Woke up to several inches of snow this morning and a SNOW DAY!  It's hard to believe that it is actually Spring and we have this much snow.  Snow should continue through this afternoon. 

 

You can see that the tracks from the truck are pretty filled in and J had just left about 30 minutes prior to make taking these photos.  Oh how I long for Spring weather....I'm over the snow!

Let it Snow!

 

 We were blessed with a white Christmas.  Yesterday, more snow came our way and dumped about 6 inches+.  This was the start of the snow yesterday.

October 29th Nor'easter

We were hit with a snow storm today...

...it was wet and very heavy. I had tried to take a picture this morning when the trees were heavy with snow, but my camera battery was dead. SIGH!


Winter is arriving early this year. So much for grass and landscaping!

Snow Storm 2010

We've gotten about a foot of snow since yesterday a noon, when the snow started falling. This is a shot outside the picture window in the living room.

This is a view out of our back door....

The snow is piled to the bottom of my Valentine's Day mini flag.

This is a picture off of the front porch. You can see where the paper boy stepped in the snow to leave the paper on the chair on our porch.

More snow is expected throughout the day with the warning ending at 6 pm tonight. I wonder if Walmart is open? lol

First Snowfall

As soon as dd climbed out of bed and peeked out the window, she wanted to play in the snow. I held her off for a few hours because the temps were so low. She finally got bundled up and headed out to play. After about 10 minutes she was too cold and came back into the house. She's just like her mom as a kid...I hated to be outside in the cold! (Still do!)

Winter Grass Garden

It's a very frigid day here in western PA. The temperature is -3 degrees and the windchill is at -22. I took the above photo when I came home from school on Wednesday. I love the way the snow has settled on the grass.
