Today for Show and Tell Friday, I want to share one pattern of several china collections I own. This Rosemont by Thomas Ivory was made in Germany. It originally was owned by our uncle's aunt. They were her good dishes used for Sunday dinners and holidays. When she passed, our aunt and uncle inherited them. They then passed them on to me. She was an elementary school teacher just like me. The service for 16 is antique. From my research, it seems that the markings on this china set mean that the dishes were manufactured in the early 1900's.The above photo shows the tea pot, tea cup and saucer and one of the serving plates.
This picture shows the tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl. I love to use it for tea parties.
The tea cup and saucer and trimmed in gold with a pink floral pattern. So dainty!
Thank you for checking out my show and tell! Visit Kelli's House for some more wonderful treasures.
Blessings,
Lisa
