| Karla |
On Friday, we adopted Karla, a 20-month old German Shepherd. She reminds me so much of our dog Keashia, in so many ways. Keashia had white marking, but otherwise, they look pretty much alike. I think it's ironic that our last dog was Keashia, and this one is Karla...both with a K at the beginning and A at the end of their names. Destiny, perhaps?
Karla doesn't seem homesick at all. She does love to play, which sometimes involves nipping at our fingers, knees, or feet. That will stop. She will learn. She is eating well, sleeps at night, and has only chewed one item...a pencil H left laying on the stairs. We're hoping the routine of the school week will get her on track.
