Hockey Banquet 2012

 I'm a bit late, but here are a few pics from ds's hockey banquet.  It was held at the home arena earlier this month.  It was a potluck and we brought the cake.

After dinner, the players and their families were invited to play a few games of hockey.  Above is my hubby on the ice.  He was wiped out after playing for 2 hours.

Hockey Banquet

On Monday evening we attended the Hockey Booster's Annual Banquet. It was a nice event, with great food.

Our Freshman team are the Laurel Hockey League's 09-10 Champions with a 13-1 season record. The boys, in grades 5-9, really came together as a team through the season and did a great job. DS is second from the right in the second row. They were each given a small trophy and a championship t-shirt.

Our week in Pictures

Happy Saturday!

I finally uploaded a few pictures from my camera. We were having computer issues, but have finally resolved them. Last Saturday, our new camper, a Conquest by Gulfstream, was delivered to our permanent camp site. Here's a photo of the kids being the first ones in the door:

All of us are excited about going camping this spring and summer. Compared to our old camper this one seems luxurious! It's very spacious and has more storage than I thought. I loved getting things organized and put away on Saturday. I have a list of items to take out on our next visit to add in our organization and to keep it looking new for years to come. Next month, we will be building a new deck on our site. I can't wait to enjoy it all.

On Wednesday evening, Daddy, ds and I went to the 2008 Hockey Banquet. The kids were given sweatshirts as their "award" for the season. DS was also awarded a certificate naming him a member of the PAHL's 2007-2008 Academic All-Star Team for excellence in Academic Achievement. We're very proud of him. Here he is wearing his new sweatshirt and with his teammates:

They are definitely a team full of personality! :0)

Hockey season is almost over. Try-outs are coming up at the end of the month. Then we'll be heading to hockey camp in July. Before we know it the season will begin again.
